Beef Karahi is a constituent of the following ingredients:

  • Beef
  • Garlic
  • Onions
  • Black Cardamom
  • Green Cardamom
  • Cloves
  • Cinnamon
  • Red Chili Powder
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Spoon
  • Tomatoes
  • Water
  • Oil
  • Ginger
  • Yogurt
  • Coriander powder
  • Pepper powder
  • Lemon Juice
  • Green coriander

Beef Karahi Cooking Process

Cooking Process for a delicious Beef Karahi that represents Pakistan’s food quality and taste is given below:

  • Take 1.5kg beef in a pressure cooker and add 7-8 pieces of garlic.
  • Take two medium-sized onions, chop them, and put them into the pressure cooker.
  • Add 2 black cardamom, 3 green cardamom, 4 pieces of cloves, and a few pieces of cinnamon.
  • Add one spoonful of red chili powder,  1/4th tablespoon of turmeric powder,  and one spoon of salt.
  • Now, take 3 tomatoes and cut each piece into 2 halves.
  • Now, place them into the cooker and add 2 glasses of water.
  • Now place the lid on the cooker and allow it to cook for 20-22 minutes till the whistle blows.
  • After 22 minutes, you will see that you have a tendered look of beef.
  • Tomatoes will also become soft and it will be easy to peel them off using any stick.
  • Tomatoes peeling will help in a creamy and tasty beef.
  • Now, transfer the boiled mixture to a pan and add half a cup of oil to it.
  • Allow it to cook on a higher flame.
  • Add three pieces of ginger, and 5 green chilies into a cup of yogurt after making a paste.
  • Add this mixture to the pan and you will see a pretty creamy look of the dish after a few minutes.
  • Now dry the yogurt water by cooking it on a high flame.
  • As the water dries, the color of the beef will become darker.
  • Add one spoon of Coriander powder, 1/4th spoon of black pepper powder.
  • Now, you will have beautiful gravy of beef.
  • Cook it for almost 15 minutes.
  • Now, pour lemon juice into the pan and add a few pieces of ginger and Green coriander.
  • At last, you will finally have a mouthwatering look urging you to taste instantly.
  • You can enjoy this along with Chapati, Naan, and Khameeri Roti.
